Joining the beta

Registration is invitation-only. Ask info@socialdancing.eu for access. Teacher and organizer accounts also need administrator approval after email verification.

Classes, enrollment and teacher updates

In managed courses, joining reserves course places or puts you on a waiting list. Single-lesson bookings are available when enabled by the organizer. Accept offers before they expire. In My Classes, confirm each lesson with “I’m coming”, “I’m not coming today” or “Not sure yet”. Your chosen role and attendance response are private to class staff. If declined places are released, changing back depends on capacity.

Course email choices are separate from newsletters. Reminders use the lesson timezone, with previous-evening reminders for early lessons. Check your class inbox before travelling: emergency cancellations and schedule changes are shown there even when email is off. Teachers can cancel one lesson without canceling the rest. A restored or rescheduled lesson requires fresh confirmation.

Helpers volunteer per course and decide whether to accept each specific invitation. A verified attendance check-in can earn a Dance Passport stamp only if you have joined the organizer’s active program, accepted its current terms, and the course/program rules permit it. Enrollment and attendance responses alone never earn stamps. Payments are not collected by this class feature.

Going to ordinary events is not a booking

“I am going” records your intention. It does not reserve a place, purchase a ticket or register you with an organizer. Use the official event link for booking requirements. You can change or remove your response in My attendance.

Event emails

Going requests a confirmation, published event updates and a reminder on the event’s local start date, normally from 08:00. Earlier events are eligible from midnight. For multi-day events the reminder is on the first day. Your email must be verified. Messages may be delayed or filtered; always check the official source before travelling.

Switch off email for individual events in My attendance, or use an email’s unsubscribe link to stop all attendance messages without changing your responses. Saved-event emails and marketing are separate choices in Notifications.

Missing verification email?

Check junk mail, confirm the address you entered, then request a fresh verification link. Contact support if it still does not arrive.

Incorrect, unsafe or infringing content

Send the listing URL, the specific issue and supporting information to info@socialdancing.eu. Do not send passwords, API keys or unnecessary personal information. For immediate danger contact local emergency services.

API access

Request or manage API access in your account. Administrators can always view API documentation and MCP instructions. Other accounts gain access after administrator approval and activation of an API key or OAuth connection, and only while an approved credential remains active.
